Stephen Parkes

Stephen Parkes serves as a co-lead of the HACE Book Club. Committed to the intersection of finance and sustainability, he is an experienced investor, advisor, and operator with a track record of growing and advising start-up and growth companies across multiple continents. Throughout his career, Stephen has balanced a deep empathy for stakeholders with a rigorous focus on strategic thinking and financial modelling.

Stephen’s entrepreneurial background includes founding and leading education-focused ventures that reached users globally and scaled teams across multiple countries. Beyond his own ventures, he has spearheaded strategic consulting projects in Europe, North America, and the Middle East and orchestrated the launch of a corporate-sponsored accelerator at the Cambridge Judge Business School.

He earned his Master’s degree in Management from Harvard University, where he was awarded the Katie Y.F. Yang Prize and served on the Harvard Council of Student Sustainability Leaders. Stephen holds a Sustainable Investing Certificate from the CFA Institute. A dedicated mentor, Stephen supports new ventures through initiative such as Harvard’s Lemann Program.
