Alida Monaco
Alida is a New York native, passionate about instigating greater private and public sector decarbonization efforts, developing climate adaptation solutions, and furthering equitable climate policy solutions. Currently, Alida is a dual degree candidate at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan, pursuing a Master's in Public Policy and an MBA. Previously, Alida worked as a Carbon Data Advisor at Watershed, a decarbonization platform whose mission is to remove 500 megatonnes—equal to 1% of total global emissions—of carbon dioxide equivalent from Earth’s atmosphere every year by 2030.
Alida is serving as the HKS Student Liaison, and is excited about the impact that students and alumni can have together.
