William Jensen-Diaz

William Jensen-Diaz serves as the Community Development Co-Director, boasting over 13 years of experience in the climate and energy sectors. His expertise lies particularly in stakeholder management, partnerships, and international cooperation for climate action and the clean energy transition.

His research encompasses policies and best practices for expanding low-carbon economies and exploring emerging technologies.

During his career, he has held various positions in the Federal Government of Mexico, the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), and currently serves as a consultant for the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) at the World Bank in Washington D.C.

An Edward S. Mason Fellow, he graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2023 with a Master’s in Public Administration. In 2012, he was selected to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the US Department of State on renewable energy and climate change. Additionally, in 2015, he was awarded the Chevening scholarship from the British Government to pursue an MSc in International Public Policy at University College London (UCL).
