Lucille Hu

Lucille Hu leads the HACE Career Transitions Program, which provides resources for alumni in the process of moving into more climate action-oriented roles or integrating climate work into existing roles.

She started her career advising business clients in the United States and Asia as a management consultant, then as an investor with a blockchain focused technology fund. After several earlier attempts to move into greener roles, Lucille is now part of a wealth management team at Morgan Stanley that specializes in ESG (environment, social, and governance) investment strategies. She is excited to be working at this intersection of finance and climate during a time when ESG as a rational investment discipline and the available metrics and tools are rapidly evolving. She hopes to support other HACE members as they navigate their own career journeys.

Lucille is a San Francisco native and she graduated from Harvard College with degrees in Economics and English. In her free time, she enjoys exploring California’s beautiful coastline, cooking elaborate meals with her fiancé, and perusing book reviews for her next great read.
