Alida Monaco

Alida is a New York native, passionate about instigating greater private and public sector decarbonization efforts, developing climate adaptation solutions, and furthering equitable climate policy solutions. Currently, Alida works as a Carbon Data Analyst at Watershed, a decarbonization platform whose mission is to remove 500 megatonnes—equal to 1% of total global emissions—of carbon dioxide equivalent from Earth’s atmosphere every year by 2030. Previously, Alida was a Climate Change & Sustainability Analyst with ICF, where she worked with private and public sector clients to create climate action plans, environmental policies, and mitigate climate risks.

Alida has been serving as the volunteer representative to the Consortium of University Alumni for a Sustainable Planet (CUSP), and is excited about the impact CUSP can have on global climate action.
