Betsy Figueroa
Betsy Figueroa is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, specializing in Sustainability, Climate,
and Equity within the Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) practice. In this
role, she supports green energy projects in accessing federal tax credits and incentive
programs that advance the transition toward a low-carbon economy.
With more than 12 years of experience in global trade, investment, and international
cooperation, Betsy has worked across industries in China and Latin America,
contributing her expertise in global sourcing, contract negotiation, and strategy
development. Her work integrates a strong technical, geopolitical, and macroeconomic
perspective to help organizations navigate complex sustainability and investment
landscapes.
Betsy holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and an
MBA focused on emerging markets, alongside a Master’s in Economics from the
University of International Business and Economics in China and a Summa Cum Laude
degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has
been recognized with several international awards, including the “Youth of Excellence
Scheme of China Scholarship” and the “Silk Road Ambassador” designation for her
contributions to cross-border collaboration and sustainable development.
